Interns Wanted for The Walt Disney Company

LSM graduate Michael Northern has contacted the University to make us aware of some amazing internships at The Walt Disney Company,so have a read and see what you think!

The jobs are Fixed Term Educational contracts, with a salary of 16K a year.  Michael will stop taking CV’s for these positions on Friday 20th May so get your skates on!

The role titles are: Production Assistant, Creative Producer and Regional Programming Intern.

LSM colleagues published

Adam O’Meara, Dean Lockwood and Rob Coley have just had a piece published in the online journal Rhizome in the special issue on Deleuze and Photography.

The submission from our colleagues was an audio recording, essay and video as a result of the ‘Student as Producer’ initiative from last year. Fantastic work! Well done to the three of them and their students.

Our short season of important films from around the world that have in various ways provided a response to the burning social issues of their time and place continues this coming weekend. Presented by Professor Brian Winston and Dr Sarah Barrow of Lincoln School of Media (University of Lincoln).

Congratulations to Audio Production Staff & Students

LSM  have been awarded an industry accreditation for BA (Hons) Audio Production from professional body ‘JAMES’ (Joint Audio Media Education Support). This accreditation is also recognised by Skillset, UK Screen, APRS and the Music Producers Guild.

For LSM students and staff. Your chance to meet LSM grads and hear about their adventures after leaving Lincoln.

Graduates attending,so far, will be from BSkyB, Design Company, BBC Radio Nottingham, Indie Productions,Web Design, Dancing Lotus and Channel 4.

The roles these graduates have vary from BBC1 Actress and GCSE Media Teacher to Camera Operators, Producers and entrepreneurs starting their own businesses.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for reassurance, inspiration, advice and tips galore. There will also be the opportunity for networking and question and answer sessions where you can gain invaluable information from them.
